What's new with Lighting By Veterans in 2016?

Lighting By Veterans 2016

As you may already know, Lighting By Veterans has been serving the North Texas area since 2011 and had expanded to Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC in 2013.  Due to the high volume of new and repeat customers here in our own backyard, (Texas) LBV decided in 2014 that we would focus on our Texas clients to make sure that they have the best experience possible every season.  This year we anticipate breaking our own personal record of 285 residential and 26 commercial properties.  Thank you for supporting us over the years!

Christmas Light Installation has been made easy as we continue to offer our services by the bulb and by the box.  There's one bulb every foot and each box of mini lights has a price for labor, warranty, materials and removal.  These prices fluctuate during the season depending on how early the services are ordered, what date is scheduled and when the deposit was given.  Obviously the earlier you secure your installation and are willing to have your decorations installed will determine the price of our services.

The 2016 Christmas Light Installation Season for Lighting By Veterans is looking promising as we have made new contacts in China.  Buying wholesale only means that we can offer the best LED products here in the North Texas area for our valued clients.  We searched far and wide to see if we can buy "American Made" but there doesn't seem to be a manufacture that produces the Christmas Lighting products that are needed to decorate our homes.

COMMERCIAL CHRISTMAS LIGHT INSTALLATION with LBV

Lighting By Veterans is now Commercial

It's almost that time again to start planning for our fourth and best quarter of the year.  Starting October 1st, Lighting By Veterans is officially in the 2014 Commercial Christmas Light Installation Season.  If you own or manage a commercial property and are looking for a Decorative Holiday Experience for your clients than give LBV a call at 469-269-2838 (AVET).  We may be the only company than can completely offer a customized solution to your Christmas Light Installation needs.  Let's make a decision this year that will be a building block for years to come.

Many companies agree to sign the 3 year contract and lease the lights from their Christmas Light Installation Company.  Since we mainly custom design and fabricate the decorations to a specific location, there's really no need to take them back.  Think about a business that spends over $15,000 a year on decorations and successfully completes their three year commitment.  Year four they've spend $45,000 and don't have one light bulb or wreath to show for it.  Now is the time to get the Texas based company on your site and on your property in 2014.  You can reach us at LightingByVeterans.com.

Now on our fourth year of business, it's time to step the game up to another level.  This year Lighting By Veterans will continue their Holiday Generosity once again in a couple of different ways.  In 2014 we plan to hire over 60 Military Veterans to install your decorations which whom are usually found at job fairs around the Dallas area.  The second thing we will be doing is introducing Santa Claus back to the oldest children in a family, the parents.  With so many kids that do not believe in Santa, you can only point the finger at the parent who do not believe.  If a parent writes an email to Santa (info@lightingbyveterans.com) with a what their child would really like to have and why they believe in Santa than he can do his job.  We will be looking for local Churches, Hospitals and Businesses to assist us in reading these emails and showing the believing parents that the "Spirit of Christmas" is real.

Santa Claus is back in town with Lighting By Veterans!

SANTA CLAUS IS REAL!!!

The Real Santa Claus with Lighting By Veterans

I was strolling through the internet yesterday when I stumbled upon the real Santa Claus.  I didn't know that he actually lives in Texas and has a side business installing Christmas Lights for LBV.  As the questions to Santa rolled off of my tongue, he began to tell me about all of the kids that need to "Believe to Receive."  Our conversation then turned to the parents that give up on Santa because they can buy their kids presents.  Both He and I shook our heads and we know the truth and will never stop believing in the Spirit of Christmas.

Santa began working with Lighting By Veterans in 2011 making Texas twinkle with beauty. This effort was aligned with Him taking pride in the amazement and smiles of the Children who lived in their clients homes.  Christmas preparation begins the day after Christmas when you're handling as many clients as LBV does.  If you're looking for the BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHT INSTALLATION COMPANY in the marketplace than give us a call at 469-269-2838 (AVET) or check us out online at lightingbyveterans.com

This year with the help of the Real Santa Clause, LBV would like to introduce an authentic channel to the Spirit of Christmas himself, Santa Claus.  We would like to encourage children to have their parents email a story of a gift that their kids really would like to have or need this Christmas.  You can reach him by posting on Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn, Twitter or just simply emailing him at info@lightingbyveterans.com.  You have to "Believe to Receive" and I would imagine there may be a few people reading these emails that would like to be Santa's helpers.  ;)

COMMERCIAL CHRISTMAS LIGHT CONTRACTOR / LIGHTING BY VETERANS / 469-269-2838 (AVET) LIGHTINGBYVETERANS.COM #LBVets

Commercial Christmas Light Professionals

It's normal to wonder how much work actually was involved in a project when you're witnessing it and who would you contract do it?  The simple answer to that question is Lighting By Veterans.  LBV completed over 180 clients homes and/or businesses last year and still projects room for growth during the 2014 / 2015 holiday season.  Let's walk through a commercial project that was completed last year.

The 20' Christmas Wreath that a local hospital ordered was a pretty in-depth challenge with a two week deadline to deliver.  The wreath needed to be constructed with garland and clear LED commercial grade mini lights.  Attached would be a bow that's wrapped with Red Velvet outlined with LED red commercial grade mini lights so you could see it from the highway.  The wreath itself could not weigh more that 1,000 pounds and would need complete padding to protect the building.

While the rush of 40 completed homes a day is going on, LBV contacted every Christmas Light Distributor in the United States to see who could deliver this wreath.  The answer was, NOBODY this year however one company could produce it for $10,000 by next year.  This of course would not include the bow which would cost an extra $2,500.  Lighting By Veterans began to make the plans and start the fabrication necessary to meet the deadline.  If we could pull this off, LBV would be the only company in the world that could deliver this while handling the breathtaking workload.

A 20' circle steel fabrication was complete which broke down into 4 manageable pieces.  The next step was to fabricate the bow in perfect proportion to the wreath.  Meanwhile LBV sent 2 employees to buy every piece of unlit garland that was available in our county and purchased enough red velvet material to cover the bow.  Then we completely padded the wreath frame and installed mounts for our aircraft cable hanging system.

Once the project was ready to be installed, LBV had their 40 ton crane hoist this wreath up 10 stories high.  It was mounted and plugged in so you could see this for miles and miles.  There's really only one company that you should trust with this seasons project, Lighting By Veterans.  Give us a call at 469-269-2838 (AVET) or check us out online at lightingbyveterans.com

PAPER, ROCK, SCISSORS WITH RON ROBEY AND LIGHTING BY VETERANS YOUR CHRISTMAS LIGHT INSTALLATION COMPANY IN VIRGINIA AND TEXAS. 571-882-9627

PAPER, ROCK, SCISSORS WITH RON ROBEY :)

There really isn't too much that you can say about rock paper scissors except it's a game of chance and there can only be one winner. This is a best out of three matchup involving an uncoordinated Air Force Veteran that speaks 6 different languages and an Army Veteran who has rhythm but only speaks one.  It's starts off pretty good but a phone call separates the two videos on my iPhone 3s.  lol  Watch how the hype builds up more and more and then try to keep from crying in the end.

James, Ray and John with Ron Robey

SPOILER ALERT!  SPOILER ALERT!  As the picture in the middle will lead you to believe, the man holding the grand prize actually lost and made the guy holding up a free bowling game ticket to Splitsville.  During the Christmas season Lighting By Veterans is as generous as possible trying to make everyone's dream come true.  Unfortunately Santa Clause cannot be everywhere but if you can get what you need and keep a smile on your face in the process you're ahead of the game.  -  Ron Robey

Ron Robey and Lighting By Veterans reviewed the new movie Son of God.

SON OF GOD MOVIE REVIEW

Son of God
Son of God movie release was rather personal on the 1st day of March with plenty of empty seats here in Fredericksburg Virginia at the 1pm showing.  There's been quite the hype built up in the film after the Passion of the Christ previously crushed the charts.  3 of the 6 movie previews were a God based movie that's coming out soon.  How awesome is God to be trending in our quick to judge culture and on the largest stage in the world.  The film industry is Americas number one export and Cieon Films has put God at the center of it all.
Son of God with Ron Robey

I have to say that Son of God was more in depth than the Passion of the Christ.  Jesus (played by Diogo Morgado) was timeless as Christopher Spencer (Son of God Director) painted a brilliant picture that's easy to understand.  I can only imagine the number of people who will watch this movie and either make a new decision for Jesus and become saved.  What a great tool for us to have a better understanding of the Bible story and it's characters.  Much like the Passion of the Christ, Son of God left the theater, bathroom and lobby with a dead silent crowd as Ceelo closed the movie out with "Mary did you know."

What do you do when you're on fire for God after the movie and what are the next steps?  Find joy in the songs that I've hyper-linked in and check out elevatelife.com to watch live or On Demand.  Elevate Life Church in Frisco, TX breeds leaders and will teach you what to look for in a home church if it's not yours already.  Pastor Keith Craft is one of the most amazing "Mighty Men" Man of God that hungers for the Son of God Jesus.  You can also enjoy his new book, "Your divine fingerprint"  Elevate you thinking, Elevate your life!

Christmas Light Installation by Veterans

2012 was the beginning of a Christmas miracle for our Veterans who are out of work.  At the Red, White and You job fair in Arlington, TX, Ron Robey (founder of Lighting By Veterans) hired 18 recently separated Military Veterans and made sure that they had the best Christmas ever.  Many of these Veterans have skills to be productive in our marketplace however landing that dream job isn't the easiest assignment.

All thanks belonging to GOD, our Veterans were putting holiday decorations in and around Hotels, Stores, Hospitals and Churches.  Lighting By Veterans also started decorating DFW residential homes and were able to complete over 120 Christmas Light Installation projects in less than month.  This effort helped save marriages, pay house payments, put smiles on kids faces and frankly brought the holy spirit to our local neighborhoods.  Many Veterans need your help during the holiday season and the best gift you can give is the gift they really need, a job.
