Santa Claus has been busy this year with Lighting By Veterans!

Santa Claus is back in 2016!

Santa Claus has had the busiest year after partnering with our local favorite Christmas Light Installation company, Lighting By Veterans.  Because of their efforts and the generosity of their clients, we were able to purchase $2,810 worth of Christmas presents for children here in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.  When it comes to walking a mile in Santa's boots, it's really doesn't happen without the support of hardworking entrepreneurs and parents that love their children dearly.  Some children only have Santa to count on because of multiple reasons and situations that our completely out of their control.  It is for this reason and many reasons like this one that our partnership with local businesses is so important so Santa can continue to reach out and touch people who still believe.

In 2016, the spirit of Christmas will continue as a few other local businesses will join the team and help out with our Santa Claus charity.  We're proud to add Five and Up Flowers, Make It Rain Marketing, Mckinney Contractors and Prosper Christmas Light Installation to our companies that will be assisting in Santa's efforts.  Our hopes is that we can quadruple our donation for the 2016 season and we're excited to see all of the smiling faces a few days before Christmas.  If you're interested in getting involved with our Santa Claus Charity in 2016, please email us at makeitrainmarketing@gmail.com for more information.  Once again we would like to thank each and every client/customer who has contributed $10 or more and we hope that the Christmas spirit moves through North Texas again in 2016.  #BelieveNSanta #LBVets #bestmckinney #ProsperXMAS #5nupflowers #rainmakerseo

What's new with Lighting By Veterans in 2016?

Lighting By Veterans 2016

As you may already know, Lighting By Veterans has been serving the North Texas area since 2011 and had expanded to Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC in 2013.  Due to the high volume of new and repeat customers here in our own backyard, (Texas) LBV decided in 2014 that we would focus on our Texas clients to make sure that they have the best experience possible every season.  This year we anticipate breaking our own personal record of 285 residential and 26 commercial properties.  Thank you for supporting us over the years!

Christmas Light Installation has been made easy as we continue to offer our services by the bulb and by the box.  There's one bulb every foot and each box of mini lights has a price for labor, warranty, materials and removal.  These prices fluctuate during the season depending on how early the services are ordered, what date is scheduled and when the deposit was given.  Obviously the earlier you secure your installation and are willing to have your decorations installed will determine the price of our services.

The 2016 Christmas Light Installation Season for Lighting By Veterans is looking promising as we have made new contacts in China.  Buying wholesale only means that we can offer the best LED products here in the North Texas area for our valued clients.  We searched far and wide to see if we can buy "American Made" but there doesn't seem to be a manufacture that produces the Christmas Lighting products that are needed to decorate our homes.

Lighting By Veterans is purchasing from China this year!

Purchasing from China

What is the difference?

Now that Lighting By Veterans is beginning their 6th season in the Christmas Light Installation business, they're looking closely at alternative options in LED purchasing directly from China.  Unfortunately there are no manufactures of LED products in the US, only resale companies who distribute China made products.  In attempt to keep cost down for their valued clients, LBV is buying directly from the source to offer the best pricing in 2016.

Using warm white LED C9 Bulbs will make your home look beautiful all Christmas long and the new LED 5mil wide angled mini lights will have your trees and landscaping ready for website photos.  Remember that ordering your services early can save you money and guarantee an installation appointment during the "Prime Time" season so don't wait to call.  There are many early bird specials that can be taken advantage of for commercial properties as well so let's plan the best Christmas ever!

Make sure you give Lighting By Veterans a call at 469-269-2838 (AVET) or visit them online at lightingbyveterans.com for more information.  This is a military veteran owned and operated business that is proud to serve the North Texas area.  Have a Merry Christmas and the best New Year ever from the folks at Lighting By Veterans!  #LBVets

PAPER, ROCK, SCISSORS WITH RON ROBEY :)

There really isn't too much that you can say about rock paper scissors except it's a game of chance and there can only be one winner. This is a best out of three matchup involving an uncoordinated Air Force Veteran that speaks 6 different languages and an Army Veteran who has rhythm but only speaks one.  It's starts off pretty good but a phone call separates the two videos on my iPhone 3s.  lol  Watch how the hype builds up more and more and then try to keep from crying in the end.

James, Ray and John with Ron Robey

SPOILER ALERT!  SPOILER ALERT!  As the picture in the middle will lead you to believe, the man holding the grand prize actually lost and made the guy holding up a free bowling game ticket to Splitsville.  During the Christmas season Lighting By Veterans is as generous as possible trying to make everyone's dream come true.  Unfortunately Santa Clause cannot be everywhere but if you can get what you need and keep a smile on your face in the process you're ahead of the game.  -  Ron Robey

Ron Robey and Lighting By Veterans reviewed the new movie Son of God.

SON OF GOD MOVIE REVIEW

Son of God

Son of God movie release was rather personal on the 1st day of March with plenty of empty seats here in Fredericksburg Virginia at the 1pm showing.  There's been quite the hype built up in the film after the Passion of the Christ previously crushed the charts.  3 of the 6 movie previews were a God based movie that's coming out soon.  How awesome is God to be trending in our quick to judge culture and on the largest stage in the world.  The film industry is Americas number one export and Cieon Films has put God at the center of it all.

Son of God with Ron Robey

I have to say that Son of God was more in depth than the Passion of the Christ.  Jesus (played by Diogo Morgado) was timeless as Christopher Spencer (Son of God Director) painted a brilliant picture that's easy to understand.  I can only imagine the number of people who will watch this movie and either make a new decision for Jesus and become saved.  What a great tool for us to have a better understanding of the Bible story and it's characters.  Much like the Passion of the Christ, Son of God left the theater, bathroom and lobby with a dead silent crowd as Ceelo closed the movie out with "Mary did you know."

What do you do when you're on fire for God after the movie and what are the next steps?  Find joy in the songs that I've hyper-linked in and check out elevatelife.com to watch live or On Demand.  Elevate Life Church in Frisco, TX breeds leaders and will teach you what to look for in a home church if it's not yours already.  Pastor Keith Craft is one of the most amazing "Mighty Men" Man of God that hungers for the Son of God Jesus.  You can also enjoy his new book, "Your divine fingerprint"  Elevate you thinking, Elevate your life!

Let say "Merry Christmas" to our Veterans by giving them a job this year

Christmas Light Installation by Veterans

2012 was the beginning of a Christmas miracle for our Veterans who are out of work.  At the Red, White and You job fair in Arlington, TX, Ron Robey (founder of Lighting By Veterans) hired 18 recently separated Military Veterans and made sure that they had the best Christmas ever.  Many of these Veterans have skills to be productive in our marketplace however landing that dream job isn't the easiest assignment.

All thanks belonging to GOD, our Veterans were putting holiday decorations in and around Hotels, Stores, Hospitals and Churches.  Lighting By Veterans also started decorating DFW residential homes and were able to complete over 120 Christmas Light Installation projects in less than month.  This effort helped save marriages, pay house payments, put smiles on kids faces and frankly brought the holy spirit to our local neighborhoods.  Many Veterans need your help during the holiday season and the best gift you can give is the gift they really need, a job.
